4. HIPAA Compliance & Protected Health Information

Advanced Revenue Group operates as a Business Associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) for every client relationship that involves PHI. Before any PHI is exchanged, we execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with the covered entity that defines the permitted uses, safeguards, and breach-notification obligations for that data.

Our HIPAA safeguards include:

Role-based access controls limiting PHI access to staff directly assigned to a client account

Full audit trails logging access to patient data

Signed Business Associate Agreements with every client and relevant subcontractor
